Ball tracking
Track the ball the way the game is actually played: tap who has it, then tap who they pass to. The grids change role with the game state, so what is on screen is always what can happen next.
- Complete pass chains. Who passed to whom, completions, incompletions, interceptions and throwaways.
- The assist is pre-selected from the last pass in the chain when a goal goes in.
- The grids change with possession. Handler and Receiver when you have it, Knockdown when they do, Groundball + Possession when it is loose.
- Opponent passing tracked as complete, loose or turnover, without needing their jersey numbers.
02
Automation, so you tap less
Most of what follows an event is predictable. The app does that part itself.
- Possession updates itself after turnovers, takeaways, interceptions, saves and groundballs.
- The field zone flips automatically when possession changes.
- Knockdown to takeaway. If your knockdown leads to your team getting the ball, that player is credited with the takeaway. It works in the other direction too.
- Save outcome is a choice. The goalie controls it and possession flips, or it is a live rebound and the ball stays loose.
- After a goal, the app jumps straight to the faceoff player picker.
- Picking a faceoff player subs them on automatically.
- A penalty sets man-up or man-down without you telling it.
- A failed clear or a successful ride prompts a one-tap possession flip.
03
Shot charting
Two taps: where it came from on the field, and where it went on the goal.
- Tap the field for the exact spot the shot came from.
- Tap the goal for where it went — including miss high, miss wide left, miss wide right and blocked.
- Results. Goal, saved, missed, blocked.
- Every shot plotted as a dot and rolled into zone heat maps.
- Per-player shot zones — where each player shoots from, and where on the goal they put it.
04
Voice commands
Run the clock, record stats and track passes without touching the screen.
- Examples. “Start clock”, “groundball 23”, “turnover”, “faceoff… won”, “clear… success”, “sub 14”, “starters”.
- Shots by voice. Field zone (“in left”), goal spot (“top right”), then “goal” or “saved”.
- In ball tracking, say jersey numbers to log passes, plus “incomplete” or “intercepted”.
- Understands player names, “goalie”, “opponent”, and team jersey colors — “white ball”.
- Possession-aware. A bare “turnover” or “takeaway” knows which team it belongs to.
- Custom alias dictionary for words it keeps mishearing, and “reset” to clear a misheard phrase.
- Handles 0 and 00.
05
Lines and substitutions
- Saved lines. Starters, man-up, man-down, faceoff, attack, three midfield sets and three defensive sets.
- Apply a line with one tap, or by voice.
- Sub popup with an on-field count badge.
- Mark players unavailable for a given game.
- One goalie on the field is enforced.
- Minutes and quarters played tracked automatically from subs and the clock.
06
Penalty timers
Penalties are their own small job during a game. The app does that job.
- Floating, draggable countdown timers that start and stop with the game clock.
- Release a penalty early, for instance after a man-up goal.
- Alerts when a penalty expires.
- Sync to the official clock when entering a penalty.
- Opponent jersey numbers and locked, non-releasable penalties.
07
Context on every play
A stat with no situation attached cannot tell you much afterwards. Every event carries its circumstances.
- Stamped on every event. Quarter, game clock, running score.
- Field position. Offensive, midfield, defensive, the box, behind the goal.
- Situation. Settled, unsettled, fast break, man-up, man-down, clear, ride.
- Opponent faceoff specialists tracked by jersey number.
08
Corrections
- Undo toast on every stat.
- The event log is editable. Delete an event and its stats reverse.
- Reassign a stat to a different player.
- Manual team and player adjustments, each logged in the event history.
