Frequently Asked Questions
Email support@ingameinsights.com with the subject "TestFlight Access" and tell us which app you're interested in. We'll send you a TestFlight invitation.
Both apps are in active beta and we welcome real coaches putting them to use during the season.
InGameInsights apps are designed for iPad — the stat tracking UI needs the screen real estate to stay tap-friendly during a live game.
iPhone is supported as a second-screen display: connect a phone to a host iPad and the phone shows live stats, the field heatmap, and a scoreboard. Great for parents on the bench or assistant coaches.
Entirely on your device. InGameInsights apps don't have user accounts, don't sync to the cloud, and don't share any data with us or anyone else.
If you delete the app or wipe your iPad, your game data is gone. We recommend regularly exporting reports (HTML or CSV) for any games you want to keep long-term.
Today, sharing happens through reports — generate a Game Report (HTML) or CSV export and share it via email, AirDrop, or Messages. Multiple coaches keeping their own data sets and comparing reports works well.
The two-iPad display mode also lets a head coach watch the live game on a second iPad while an assistant tracks on the first.
Each app has a voice alias editor where you can teach the app to recognize alternate pronunciations or shortened forms (e.g., "Ben" for "Benjamin"). Look for the microphone settings inside the app.
Voice commands work best in quieter environments. On a windy or loud sideline, manual entry is usually faster and more reliable.
Email support@ingameinsights.com with as much detail as you can — what you were trying to do, what happened, screenshots if you have them, and what iPad/iOS version you're running.
Feature requests are genuinely welcome. Many of the best features in our apps came from coach suggestions during the season.
